CUSTOMISED CONTROL SYSTEMS

Computer controlled systems for "SYSTEMATIC HEATING" and "REMOTE OPERATOR DATA ACQUISITION" are standard requirements of today's modern railway systems. These systems of points heating control contribute to the optimum use of personnel while ensuring efficient use of power distribution throughout the system.

ITT INTELLIGENT TRACKSIDE TRANSFORMER

Integration into existing control and monitoring systems, through hardware and software, is a primary feature of our systems. Alarm, status signals and control commands can be transmitted to the On-Call maintenance team through the prevailing mobile phone networks as well as the operating centres computer system.

As a major design consideration on YARDENE ENGINEERING 2000 ITT (Intelligent Trackside Transformer) up to 10 mobile phone numbers can be sent a warning failure alarm message as and when a problem occurs. The maintenance team can then interrogate the ITT via the Command Centre computer to ascertain the failure problem and the subsequent replacement parts required to resume the heating.

All our point heaters are designed for compact installation so that equipment can be kept in situ during track maintenance.

GAS POINT HEATING

GAS POINT HEATING is an option to be considered where prevailing weather conditions demand quicker heating. Automatic sensor controlled operation is a standard option.
