EMERGENCY WARNING BOARD
Standard

THE STANDARD EMERGENCY WARNING BOARD (EWB) is fitted with a rechargeable battery with a normal cycle life of 12 days between charges.

The unit can be charged from either a 240v or 110v source. On long-term restrictions the unit can be plugged into the 110v trackside source, so reliving the I.M.C. personnel from removing the unit for recharge.

THE MINIATURE EMERGENCY WARNING BOARD (EWB) is fitted with a rechargeable battery with a life cycle of 4/5 days between charges.

This unit has been designed with exactly the same TSR characteristics as the standard large version, with removal and replacement on site made easier by its lightweight design.

The indicator is normally positioned on site by locking it onto a ground-mounting stake or it can simply be fixed to the rear of a train using the same fixings.

The utilisation of new magnet material technology has enabled us to dramatically reduce the overall weight of the actual magnet unit and therefore develop a much more simplified track fixing procedure.

Single line attachment has been the key to significantly reducing the installation time, now approximately 30 seconds from stepping into the 4ft. Each magnet unit comes with its own wooden storage and carrying case to ensure maximum damage protection when in storage or on the van. As stipulated by Network Rail / Euston each unit can be padlocked to deter vandals.

AWS / TSR MAGNET - Light Weight "GREEN" Super Strength

This variant of the AWS / TSR Magnet has been designed exactly as the Standard version but incorporates additional magnetic strength to counteract the forces from the DC / Third Rail power line.

Fixing arrangements are exactly the same, providing a dramatic reduction in TSR set up times thus increasing Pway efficiencies, manpower distribution and the associated costs accordingly. This style also comes with its own wooden storage and carrying case and the ability to be padlocked to the line.
